SANJOSE has been awarded a contract to build a 9-megawatt solar photovoltaic (PV) farm in Spain at a cost of 9 million euros, with construction expected to begin this year.

The solar photovoltaic plant consists of a total of 374,000 polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic panels with an efficiency of 14.3%, 16 three-phase 500 kW inverters and eight 1250 kVA modified silicon wafers. The photovoltaic farm is located in the Navarra concession community.

SANJOSE was also responsible for the evacuation route and substation modifications associated with the 10 MWA solar PV plant at a 20/66 kV retrofitting ratio.

The photovoltaic farm is expected to produce 12 gigawatt hours of electricity per year under a contract awarded by investment group OPDE.
